Vacation style has been almost impossible to escape on social media this summer. I’m not complaining though because there is nothing I love more than a good holiday outfit. Plus, fantasizing about far off destinations and weekend getaways have been at the forefront of my day dreams lately. For those of us lucky enough to be jet-setting this summer or doing the staycation thing, I’ve together three stunning vacation outfits that are going to make all your Instagrams pop! Teaming up with media producer and photographer, Katherine Pekala, we captured some gorgeous shots in the sweltering NYC heat. Using some of the city’s most popular neighborhoods as our backdrop, we turned the Meatpacking District, Greenwich Village, and The Lower East Side into a vacation getaway. Posting up against colorful walls and tropical-inspired restaurants like Santina brought these three gorgeous looks to life. Dive into it look book to get lost in all your vacation style dreams.

You are not on vacation till you break out the bright colors right? This vibrant look was made for frolicking along the coastline of a tropical island or having lunch over looking an amazing view. Picture that. Flaunting this stunning red crop top and striped maxi skirt made me feel like I was sashaying through Old Havana. And the best part is it’s so easy to wear, just what’s needed on vacation. It’s the perfect fuss-free day outfit that can be easily worn at night as well with some chunkier accessories. Plus, fun fact, the skirt is actually a dress I made into a skirt :). Peep it in dress form here.
This look features a little DIY action too. I transformed my white shirt dress into an off-the-shoulder number with a rose-like detail. How fun! This outfit is all about playing with shapes and volume. I tucked my shirt into these denim culottes, which I’ve been killing for like two summers now, highlighting that minimal looks can be a little dramatic too. If color isn’t really your thing, then this crisp white and light wash denim look is a great option. It’s clean and fresh while still maintaining character through the silhouette and white pointy kitten heel. I imagine this look to be fitting for all my boss babes that may still have to stop by a business casual meeting while on holiday. If you are going for the sharp sophisticated vacation vibe this look is a go to as well.
While vacationing we all need that sight-seeing outfit that’s going to keep us feeling cool and breezy all day long. This look is perfect for just that as it’s one of those outfits you can comfortably wear throughout the day. The crop top and shorts combo are easy to slip into and the low heel pumps up the look while keeping it casual. The best part is the all black number can double as a cute playful romper. Plus, it’s a vacation friendly way to wear black in the heat. To round off the look, I threw on these Adam Selman sunnies I borrowed from Katherine to get the perfect shot. After all, your vacation wardrobe is not complete without some fun sunglasses.
