HOW I TURNED MY PASSION PROJECT INTO A FULL-FLEDGGED BUSINESS AND MISSION
Nine years ago, I launched IN THING as a creative outlet—a space to help women rediscover themselves through personal style. What started as a side project quickly evolved into a full-time career, leading to partnerships with major brands, a thriving community, and a deeper purpose: to help women feel confident, clear, and in control through the way they get dressed.
Over the years, I’ve worked as a personal stylist through platforms like Style Alert and Nordstrom Studio Services, and styled editorial campaigns for names like Zappos, & Other Stories, and Absolut. Through it all, I’ve helped hundreds of women connect with their Style DNA—that unique expression of self that can transform how you show up every day.
But for all my experience in fashion, there was one thing holding me back: my own closet. It was cluttered, chaotic, and filled with pieces that no longer aligned with who I was. The disorganization wasn’t just physical—it impacted my clarity, my productivity, and my ability to evolve.
In 2021, I discovered the work of Marie Kondo, and something clicked. I began applying her method to my own space and felt an instant shift. For the first time, my closet reflected the woman I had become—not the one I used to be. I felt lighter. Sharper. More powerful. And getting dressed became a joy again.
That clarity changed everything. And I knew I wasn’t alone. So many brilliant, busy women—entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals—were struggling with the same disconnection between their style and their space. That’s when I started taking on organizing projects, combining my fashion expertise with intentional systems to create results that were both beautiful and life-enhancing.
This became the foundation of Wardrobe Makeovers—a high-touch service that blends closet organization with personal styling to help you streamline your lifestyle and elevate your wardrobe from the inside out.
Today, my team and I work 1:1 with women ready for a total style reset—women who are ready to dress for the life they have and the one they want. Together, we help you create a wardrobe that’s not only stylish and seasonally relevant, but functional, efficient, and uniquely you.

She came in and calmly, yet methodically, unraveled several years of mayhem in my master closet and office, organizing everything while making it aesthetically pleasing – which was no easy feat.
