Looks like spring has finally sprung in NYC! In my world, that means it’s time to break out the easy breezy looks and lap up some sun. That’s exactly what I did for these gorgeous Vetiver dresses perfect for a weekend getaway. I came across the travel-inspired brand on Instagram and instantly fell in love with its whole easygoing vibe. The Vetiver Collection offers a variety of timeless versatile pieces that can be literally styled a million and one ways. Alright, that’s definitely hyperbole, but I truly appreciate how I was able to make these pieces my own. It made wearing them that more special. For this lookbook, I styled three of beautiful maxi dresses from the line for a quick vacation getaway or some fun spring/ summer inspiration. Take a look!

How gorgeous is this dress?! I’m obsessed with the color, shape, and the little detailing at the shoulders and the back. To me its the ultimate maxi dress. For this look, I wanted the beauty of the piece to stand out on its own so I kept the styling very minimal. I clipped my hair back, slipped on some white slingbacks and popped on my cute gold studs to add some personal touches. My favorite part of this gem is the adjustable straps and allows me to tie the dress however I’d like. This time I tied it up in a v-shape knot. It’s such a thoughtful element that really allows you to make the dress unique to you. This maxi is the perfect vacation piece to wear to the beach or even a special day party. It makes me want to jet off to someplace tropical immediately. And just a side note, whoever said short girls can’t wear maxis are very wrong :).

On vacay, we all need that day to night dress option right? The Rockaway ZigZag Maxi is just that! I love that you can dress it down during the day with some cute flats or sandals, or take it up a notch at night by adding some heels and chunkier jewelry. I choose to style it as a night time look. I added my white slingback heels for some height and a dressier look. Popped on a bold red lip and added some earrings for a little more drama. This is a great option for dinner and (or) a night out dancing as its fitted yet breathable.

The Patti Shirtdress is the ultimate daytime dress. I love how easy breezy it is which makes it perfect for lounging or summer time. It’s also super comfortable and versatile as it can be styled multiple ways. I layered on the jewelry and added some platforms to help elevate the simple design. I can’t wait to see the other ways I’m going to wear this piece in the future.
