Coney Island Dusk: An End of Summer Style Guide

Aug 17, 2018 | Fashion, Outfit

And just like that, it’s the end of summer, a reality I’m still trying to wrap my head around. Despite my disbelief, time is undeniably flying and waiting for no one. So before the warmth and sun retreats, I’ve curated an end of summer style guide for you to shop the last bit of the season’s treats before it’s too late.

Towards the closing of the summer, I like to focus on choosing pieces that’ll transition well into the fall/winter months that’s why I opted for this beautifully made jumpsuit from & Other Stories. I love the vibrant red because it gives those quintessential summer vibes and the jumpsuit is covered up enough to keep me warm during those cool end of summer nights when the weather drops. The jumpsuit’s versatility also makes it a great investment piece because it works well for the fall too. I already know I’m going to be wearing it again with a leather jacket and or sweater, and some boots.

To finish my look I added my white Tree Runners Allbirds sneakers, a printed headscarf, and some hoop earrings. I’ve been loving the sneaker trend and wanted to give it a run for this fit (no pun intended). I especially enjoy the extra pop these stark white sneakers give the look and the fact that its extra comfortable is definitely an added plus. No exaggeration, these sneakers are the softest, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever put on my feet! I’ve been wearing them nonstop throughout the season since I got them! These sneaks along with my jumpsuit are definitely some pieces to add to your end of summer wardrobe. It’ll definitely be worth it! Check out my other pieces below in the style guide for your end of summer wardrobe fix!
