As a society, we put a lot of pressure on each other for Valentine’s Day which is something that always baffles me because isn’t a day all about love supposed to be comforting and carefree? Sometimes our high expectations of how this day should go and who it should be spent with suck all the fun right out of it which defeats the whole purpose. That’s why this Valentine’s day I’m challenging you to just enjoy the holiday as we should all be striving to enjoy every day. Whether you’re spending it with your significant other, with your girlfriends, or by yourself, each relationship should bring tons of joy to you because each one has lots of love to offer.

Don’t get caught up in the unwritten rules. On Valentine’s and on all days strive to make your loved ones feel a little more special. Love on yourself a little harder. But most importantly, have fun!
