POWER DRESSING

Power dressing has been an ongoing trend that’s been with us for a few seasons now. It has seen many iterations from sleek tailoring and suiting to the strong shoulders we’ve seen this season. For fall 2025, the trend has extended its range into strong outerwear seen at Khaite and Givenchy to sharp dresses and skirts seen at YSL. The main takeaway with power dressing and the reason we believe it’s been such a staple trend is because it’s takes everyday wardrobe essentials like a great coat or suit and turns it up a notch which in turn gives you a fierce energy to face the world especially in today’s climate.

DARK CHOCOLATE

Chocolate brown is no stranger to the fall color palette but this season a deeper richer tone has emerged. We’ve also seen a great deal of tonal dressing when it comes to the color at Burberry, Chloe, and Alaïa. The monochromatic dressing is a great way to translate the runway styling into everyday life as it’s an approach that feels elevated yet easily achievable. Not to mention this color palette instantly adds an element of luxe to any look due to its rich tone. For extra style points try playing with texture to make your fall looks even more dynamic.

TOWN & COUNTRY

The reemergence of Burberry’s popularity as a fashion house has us all reevaluating our city lives. The English country side, equestrian aesthetic coming from Burberry has been so impeccable that us city dwellers are dreaming of another lifestyle just for the fashion. All over plaid coats with matching scarfs at Burberry and chic scarf dresses at Ralph Lauren is the epitomy of country chic that we want to embody this fall. The best part is that this look can be easily adapted for city life as well with luxe knits sets that can integrate into any wardrobe.

BOHO POWER

Boho is back and it’s never looked this good. The niche aesthetic has always been relegated to a certain type of girl but the new boho offers something for everyone. If you’re not into going full on boho you can always take elements of it like the fur accessories or lace pieces to integrate into your wardrobe. Chloé’s creative director, Chemena Kamali, is at the forefront of shaping the look and has truly elevated what the modern boho woman looks like. Other brands like Zimmerman has also taken their stab at the aesthetic showing us silk and lace pairing any woman would enjoy. In summation, the boho look is in great hands and we can wait to see how it continues to evolve.

LIFE IN TECHNICOLOR

Brights are back on the runways and we are thrilled to see it. At Gucci we saw a mix of primary colors with muted tones that made for such striking color blocking looks. Saint Laurent also gave us an array of technicolor 80’s inspired looks that was refreshing to see amidst a sea of neutral toned collections. To incorporate this trend into your everyday, opt for a bold occasion dress in a bright color or take a more subtle approach it a top or skirt in a brighter hue. It’s a great way to inject your everyday of neutral fall winter wardrobe with life and joy.

UNCANNY SILHOUETTES

This season turned oversize on its head. With outer-worldly silhouettes coming down the runway at Alaïa to dropped-waist ball gown dresses and skirts at Saint Laurent, the shapes seen for fall 2025 has been nothing short of a treat. If you’re feeling a bit daring, dive into the trend with a strong-shouldered jacket or hip-exaggerated skirt. Either way you’re bound to turn up the volume on your everyday fall looks.
