CASUAL GLAM
Yes you guessed it right, you can do holiday style without getting super dressed up in sequin. For my babes that like to keep it simple yet effective, taking this approach to holiday dress may be the key. The trick to it is choosing one or a few pieces that are traditional holiday style and mix it with everyday pieces. Think a striking matellic blouse paired with a pair of jeans, some statement earrings and heels. You’ll still be dressed appropriately for all your holiday events but without leaving behind the comfort of your fave pair of denim.
HOLIDAY GLAM
This approach to seasonal dressing is probably the one we’re all the most familar with. It’s the holiday style that allows you to go over board and bring out the satin, sequins, and fur to play. Think New Year’s Eve looks. For my more bougie babes, this type of seasonal style is just another glam outfit to wear to an upcoming holiday party. For my outfit, I dabbled in the Holiday Glam look a bit by pairing a sleek satin cowl neck cami with trousers. To bring out the essence of this approach, I polished the look with statement gold earrings, gold buckle belt, pointed-toe booties, and a bold red lip. Pull off this look by styling statement pieces in fabrics like satin, velvet, or even corduroy. It will give you an effortless high impact look with miniml effort.
CLASSIC HOLIDAY
We all know and love a good classic look. And there’s no getting around them, not even during the holiday season. That’s why they’re classic right? For this look reach for pieces that are structured and chic. Ones that’ll require minimal styling but will still turn heads. Blazers, turtlenecks, midi dresses, and killer trousers are usually a few of the pieces that are part of the Classic Holiday look. These type of outfits are also great to wear to more conservative holiday parties where you want to flaunt your great style but not be too over the top.
