Most of us can agree on one thing when it comes to transitioning into fall, we’re not excited for colder weather, but we’re definitely looking forward to fall fashion. At least that’s my take on things each time this time of year rolls around. This season I’m really into the trends and I have a little bit of extra excitement to delve into fall dressing. To satisfy my buzz I’ve teamed up with The Vetiver Collection to style a few pieces from their fall 2018 collection that features a more elegant and sophisticated take on classic 80’s prints and silhouettes. Get into how these pieces reimaged make the best end of summer to fall transitional outfits.
LOVE IS THE DRUG COWL MAXI
Leave behind: Bare summer shoulder + sandals
Transition into: Layers + Leather Jacket
Who says you can’t take your fave maxi dress into the fall? Layer this piece with a stunning biker jacket or blazer to stay warm and stylish. Finish the look with a pair of boots for height and elevation and some sunnies for a bit of edge and attitude. For extra warmth wear some cozy leggings under the stunning maxi. See this look in action during a chilly NYFW night.

BETWEEN THE SHEETS SHIRT DRESS
Leave behind: Going jacket-less + bare legs
Transition into: Blazer + Bottoms
Nothing says comfort like fall and the Between The Sheets shirt dress is the perfect pieces to have for summer to fall transitional outfits. It’s super cozy and the silk (unlike popular belief) secures heat. Throw on a light blazer paired with some sleek bottoms to go with the polished look of the shirt dress. If you want to flaunt more of the beauty, layer it with a jacket and some thigh high boots. For a sexier, night out look peep how I styled it here for the Chromat show at NYFW.

PRIVATE EYES PALAZZO PANT
Leave behind: Crop top + heel
Transition into: Blazer + Platform sneakers
Palazzo pants will always have a special place in my heart and closet. They have such an ease to them and are essentially seasonless which makes them super easy to style for fall. For this look, replace your outerwear with a blazer to let the pants shine. For an element of surprise, throw on some sneakers for elevation and to break up the monochrome black. When the weather gets a bit colder, throw on another layer of outwear over the blazer look for warmth.
