3 Spring Looks to Usher In The New Season

Mar 14, 2019 | Fashion, Outfit, Style Tips

Spring is finally rearing its head and in a few days, the refreshing season will officially be upon us. During this time, I love the crisp clean pieces that start to pop up at the stores and putting them all together is, even more, fun. It’s always a great feeling of relief surviving winter and entering a new start when spring rolls around. And I especially love to celebrate that feeling by getting dressed in lighter layers.

To help usher in the new season, I styled three stunning spring looks that effortlessly doubles as vacation wear too. If you’re going away soon, you’re in luck and here are three outfit ideas to get you started on how to kill it on holiday.

These looks which originally derived from creating sponsored Instagram posts with Primark (this post isn’t sponsored) were too good to just live on Instagram so I figured I’d share it here on the blog too. Besides, I’m sure you want more details on looks and to peep the extra photos from the shoot. So here they are! By the way, if you missed those posts, please give them a like and or comment. I’d appreciate it very much! Now let’s get into these goods

THE JUMPSUIT

A jumpsuit is probably the easiest winter to spring transitional piece to own. It’s covered enough to keep you warm when temperatures dip. But lightweight enough to match the mild weather. This printed gem is the perfect way to usher in spring because the palm print and light fabric scream warm weather is ahead. To keep the easy breezy vibe going I paired it with white netted sandals that are so comfortable and versatile. I can already see it becoming a staple in my spring/summer wardrobe. To add a little quirk to the look I added the infamous hair clips that have been everywhere on Instagram. I love how the pearl and white accents in the look all complement each other and makes the outfit cohesive.

THE SHIRT DRESS

Neutrals or the utilitarian trend have been making waves this season and I’m obsessed! My wardrobe is already filling up with too many beige and khaki, but it’s all for good reason. These colors just make every outfit look so chic with little to no effort so it was only right to throw this shirt dress in the mix. I styled it with my trusty white sandals again to give the look an extra pop. To go with the warm, tropical feel of all three outfits I finished the look with some over-sized tortoise sunnies.

THE SEPARATES

Nothing says spring wear more than some crisp clean separates that can be paired a million different ways. I already know this button-down khaki shirt and camel pants are goi g to bring such versatility to my wardrobe and I can’t wait to pair them up with other pieces. But they are also so stunning together. I love how the two colors complement each other. To add a point of difference to the outfits I bunched up the sleeves to give it a ballon-sleeve effect. That little detail just gives the look a more relaxed vibe that I was going for. To finish, I accessorized with my bamboo-like-textured flats to compliment the other neutrals, over-sized sunnies, and some cute diamante hair clips to add a little whimsical touch to the look.

For spring these key pieces will definitely been a great place to start your seasonal wardrobe with a bang. And the great thing is they can all double as vacation looks if you’re traveling somewhere warm soon.

You can get all the looks in store at Primark King’s Plaza Mall, Brooklyn or at their Staten Island location if you’re in NYC.
